Tuesday Evening Craft Group
Tuesday evening craft group meets the first and third Tuesday of each month.
Bring your craft and enjoy the company of others from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm at the House. For more information, please email group leader Heidi Deane.
Occasionally, we will also meet on the 5th Tuesday of the month. Participating in a craft group allows one to learn new techniques and skills from other members. You can share your expertise and receive valuable feedback, which can help you continuously improve your craft.
Crafting is often a solitary activity, but joining the Tuesday evening craft group lets you connect with like-minded individuals who share your interests. It can be an excellent way to make friends and build a supportive community. Interacting with other crafters can spark new ideas and inspire your creativity. Seeing different approaches to the same craft or learning about diverse projects can open up new possibilities for your work.
Craft groups usually cover a wide range of crafts and skills. Joining one can expose you to different art forms and crafts you might not have considered before. This exposure can broaden your creative horizons.
Engaging in creative activities is known to have therapeutic benefits. Crafting, combined with the social aspect of a group, can reduce stress, improve mental well-being, and offer a positive outlet for self-expression.
Check out our Monday morning craft group if you prefer a daytime craft group.
